Gaming Box questions
The hardware is identical. The only difference is how they run: Gaming Box Lite (£49.95/month) powers up when you start a session and shuts down after a short period of inactivity, while Gaming Box (£79.95/month) stays on 24/7 with no shutdown timers. Your games, files and settings are saved on both.
Anything that runs on Windows 11. It's a real PC with full admin rights, so install Steam, Epic, Battle.net, Xbox Game Pass or anything else. There's no approved-games list like traditional game-streaming services.
Streaming starts from around 5 Mbps, with 25 Mbps+ recommended for high-quality 4K play. A wired or 5 GHz Wi-Fi connection keeps latency low. You can test your real speed and ping to our data centre with the free Connection Check.
When your Gaming Box is online, we assign a full RTX GPU entirely to your session — its GPU compute is not shared with anyone else while you play. When you're offline, that GPU can be allocated elsewhere. For hardware that is physically yours around the clock, choose GPU Box.
Gaming Box comes with a static IP that stays yours until you cancel. Gaming Box Lite uses a dynamic IP, so it can change between sessions. If you need a fixed address for things like hosting or remote access, choose Gaming Box or GPU Box.
Yes. Alongside the standard 1TB NVMe drive you can add an optional secondary drive of up to 8TB, at checkout or any time later.
